The Centre for Energy and Resource Technology at Cranfield University offers one, two, four and five day specialist short courses and workshops for professionals working in the resource management and waste sector. These courses aim to promote a better understanding of key processes and management strategies. Scheduled courses are run each year. Bespoke courses can also be organised to meet specific business training needs. 

Courses are delivered by a combination of subject specialists from the academic community at Cranfield, and industrial practitioners. Attendance can contribute towards individuals’ continuing professional development (CPD). All course are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and selected courses by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) for the purpose of CPD.

Who should attend?
All courses are suitable for professionals employed within the resource management industries who wish to expand their skills and knowledge in specific specialist areas and gain an understanding of key processes and management strategies.

Fees
The fee includes tuition, course notes and materials. It does not include accommodation. The School of Applied Sciences offers Cranfield alumni a 20% discount off the standard price of its short courses.* Applied Sciences also extends a 10% discount off the standard short course fee when a Cranfield alumnus books a colleague onto the School's short courses. In both cases when booking please state SASALUMNI.

Accommodation
Delegates regularly stay in campus accommodation that is located within walking distance of where the course is being held. However, it is possible to reside off campus. For further information please contact us.

Location
The Cranfield campus is conveniently situated between junctions 13 and 14 of the M1. Detailed directions and maps are available.
