Dr Pengfei Xue is currently managing the EU project LeanPPD, Lean Product and Process Development and leading the aspect of KBE application development.

Background
Dr Pengfei Xue joined Cranfield University in 2010. He obtained his PhD in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton. His research is concerned with distributed systems, web service, systems modelling, systems integration and new tools development.
He was involved in the projects with EPSRC, EU and JISC in multidisciplinary software-support research. His strength lies in applying systems approach to computer science research and on the value of working for real applications and real users.
