Current activities
Mr Nabeel Shaikh is developing production versions of Tomcat and PSS-Cost tools for obsolescence management for the KT-Box Project and to develop an integrated tool set for obsolescence management.
The KT-Box Project aims to take recent research findings from engineering, technology, business and the social sciences and turns them into tools, techniques and processes suitable for widespread adoption by UK industry and the public sector.

Background
Mr Nabeel Shaikh is a programmer with a background in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. He has a Masters degree in software engineering from Bahria University, Pakistan and a Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh.
Nabeel's Masters degree emphasised on the software engineering life cycle, and the development of large scale software systems. His postgraduate diploma had an emphasis on robotics.
Previous work includes programming low carbon software for architectural use at Cambridge University. His interests include renewable energy technologies, production of renewable energy and conservation of energy.
