Current activities
Dr Denyse Julien is the Course Director for the Manufacturing Consultancy course within the Manufacturing Programme.
Since joining Cranfield in 2005 Dr Denyse Julien has continued to develop on her interests in both Supply Chain Management and Quality Management and in particular the fusion of the two areas.
She has also been involved in looking at the approach to the development of SC strategies that balance value for both shareholders and customers.

Background
In the preceding five years before joining Cranfield, Dr Denyse Julien worked for a large multinational company. Initially she was involved in the area of defining the approaches to managing the supply network to guarantee the promised quality at the point of consumption. Subsequently she was promoted into an internal consultant role implementing best practices in the area of materials handling across the various operating companies spanning the Asian, African and Oceania region.
In addition to her industrial experience, Denyse worked for several years at the Institute for Management Development in Switzerland as a Researcher. The research that she participated in focused on issues surrounding supply chain management and managing manufacturing.
Since joining Cranfield she has continued to develop her interests in both Supply Chain Management and Quality Management and in particular the fusion of the two areas.
