Dr Simon Gray is currently involved in a number of projects including a number with Rolls Royce that are confidential and commissioning equipment for ITP that is capable of cyclic corrosion between type I and II temperature regimes.

Background
Dr Simon Gray has over 12 years experience in the field of high-temperature coatings. His specific technical and research expertise lie in the fields of high-temperature corrosion and oxidation testing of coatings, oxide growth stress modelling, creep and fatigue of high-temperature coatings. He is a co-inventor on a patent for coatings for TiAl and have considerable experience in a number of coating deposition processes including plasma spraying, CVD and PVD.
