Current Cranfield Motorsport MSc student Gautier Bouteiller and alumnus Karel Loos were in Argentina last weekend. Gautier was in the Hexis AMR Team which won the FIA GT1 World Championship. Running an Aston Martin DBR9-GT1 the French team secured the world title in the last round of the championship. Gautier who is a data engineer and strategist with the Hexis AMR Team took time out of his MSc studies to travel to Argentina before coming back to Cranfield to work on his vehicle dynamics module. Meanwhile Karel was working on the Corvette of Exim Bank Team China which won both races in Argentina. Karel Loos joins F1 team Lotus Renault Grand Prix next week.
