Cranfield University has joined institutions nationwide in pledging adherence to the Agent Quality Framework, ensuring satisfactory standards for the journey of international prospective students.

Jointly led by the British Council, British Universities International Liaison Association, Universities UK International and the UK Council for International Student Affairs, the framework has been created following extensive research with students, educators, advisers, and agents.

The framework establishes a uniform approach for UK institutions in collaborating with agents and recruitment partners to attract international students, prioritising student experience and integrity. Cranfield are committed to enhancing the application process for prospective international students and their overall student experience. Our worldwide community is a powerful professional network with students and learners from 177 countries.

The pledge focuses on enriching the overall student experience for prospective international students and facilitating well-informed choices.

Chief Executive and Vice-Chancellor of Cranfield University, Professor Karen Holford CBE FREng said: “By adopting this framework, we affirm our dedication to upholding the highest industry standards in our interactions with our international agent network, ensuring excellence for both our students and partners. This initiative marks a significant advancement for the sector and receives our full endorsement here at Cranfield University.”
