Background
Kris Bramley studied for a Bachelor in Engineering (BEng) in Materials Engineering at Loughborough University. Then spent 6 years as a Materials Scientist in the Rubber industry before making a career change to a technical role in Higher Education.
Kris has been in his current role as a Senior Technical Officer in Materials Characterisation at Cranfield since 2020
Current activities
Kris's current interests are primarily centred around Scanning Electron Microscopy with a particular focus on Electron Backscatter Diffraction.
