The Institute of Environment and Health (IEH) offers the latest analytical research facilities with broad expertise in human health risk assessment and sustainability.

Our multidisciplinary team of toxicologists, epidemiologists, chemists, microbiologists and environmental scientists carry out independent research and consultancy to understand and mitigate risks of harm to human health and the environment.

We provide:

  • Trace analysis of organics in air, dust, soil and water
  • Assessment of human exposure to pollutants
  • Toxicological risk assessments for chemicals, particulates and nanoparticles
  • Identification of biomarkers of exposure and disease
