MSc Applied Bioinformatics
This popular one year full-time (or two year part-time) course is specifically designed to provide life science graduates with the bioinformatics and computer skills required to tackle data driven biological challenges.
The first of its kind in the UK, our Applied Bioinformatics MSc is highly regarded by employers for its ‘real-world’ relevance and applied content. The MSc has more recently, become recognised by the UK BBSRC (Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council) as providing the necessary skills and experience to contribute to their vision of developing and maintaining world-class UK bioscience.
As a result of this recognition the course is now supported by a Masters Training Grant from the BBSRC so funded opportunities are now available to outstanding applicants.
