The need for organisations to capture, extract and make use of its knowledge assets is greater than ever, in particular in the area of human knowledge. Growing competition, changing customer requirements and rapid economic changes mean that Organisational Knowledge is becoming increasingly important in business.

Health is a business sector which has traditionally depended on informal and undocumented knowledge. This Organisational Knowledge course has been designed to equip MSc students who have an interest in the Health sector with the knowledge, skills and experience to maximise knowledge assets in their current and future roles. The course brings together expertise from different industries which can be applied to the Health sector.

This course is suitable for anyone looking to pursue a career in organisational management with particular reference to the Health sector, or a general management position in a variety of organisations. Previous students have come from a variety of backgrounds - some have degrees in business-related subjects such as Law, Economics or Applied IT and others have been part-time staff from the NHS.

Part time - up to three years

Entry requirements: 

A minimum of a 2nd class (or above) UK honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. In exceptional cases, however, a candidate may be admitted with appropriate professional experience. Where applicable, students must demonstrate competency in English such as achieve a minimum International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 580. Our Academic Summer Programme offers pre-sessional training in English.
