Our Medical Diagnostics MSc has been developed with, and is accredited by, the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) - the professional body for biomedical scientists in the United Kingdom.
Cranfield Health commits to finding a work placement for all MSc students who wish to carry out their three-month research project in industry. During this project, you can actively apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations, gaining contact with potential employers and practical experience in a highly competitive industry.
In past years, students have carried out work placements in companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Wyeth, Huntingdon Life Sciences, Unipath, Bayer and The Binding Site and some have even gone on to join these companies following completion of their degrees. Others have chosen to continue their research training by undertaking a PhD either at Cranfield or elsewhere.
