About the facility
The unmanned aircraft system (UAS) integration laboratory is an experimental facility that enables the exploration of novel power generation concepts, including innovative electrical machine topologies, generation systems with multiple components and alternative means of power generation, such as fuel cells, solar or thermo-electric power.
We conduct research on efficient power management to provide energy autonomy, allowing the electrical system to continue to meet the demands placed upon it, regardless of the state of the power system and the environment. We also develop algorithms and architectures that enable communication and coordination between multiple agents in the presence of incomplete and imperfect information.
