Doctoral networking opportunities

Networking

At Cranfield, our thriving research community provides a stimulating environment in which doctoral students progress through their study. A combined focus on research rigour and relevance to practice, provides a learning experience that makes Cranfield unique.

Doctoral students collaborate with faculty who are experts in their field. They also have the opportunity to meet with industry professionals and business leaders for debate and problem-solving, as well as the chance to network. The university organises a series of activities to support this:

  • the Prestige Lecture Series, presented by accomplished individuals who are leaders in their field across industry and government
  • an annual conference for each Centre
  • monthly research club meetings: an informal opportunity for doctoral students to meet one another, also attended by visiting alumni.

These and a number of other events provide a framework for networking and personal engagement to enhance your research.
