Welfare

Sometimes you need a helping hand or someone to listen to you. Here at the CSA our Welfare Officers are full time students so they know some of the pressures of life at Cranfield. Contact them via the CSA office or email csa@cranfield.ac.uk.

There is also a free student counselling service on campus. Counselling provides a confidential, safe and friendly environment in which to explore those issues which concern you, especially if you are experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, anger or crisis. You can contact either Barrie Hopwood on 0780 876 6067 or Teresa Townsend on 0795 830 3487. It may be necessary to leave a message on their answering machines but your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Occasionally you might want to seek support from agencies outside the campus. There are a range of national agencies in the UK offering a variety of support services. For more information contact the CSA, ext 4095.  Listed below are some of the main agencies that students have found useful in the past.
