Commercial Visibility at the Defence Academy

.If you are a supporter of Symposia at Shrivenham, you may be aware already of the move of our default venue for our events to the Defence Capability Centre (DCC) here at the Defence Academy. You may be aware also of our plans to enhance the new Conference Hall, an integral part of the DCC, including the opportunity for long term commercial visibility being made exclusively to supporters of Symposia at Shrivenham.

The DCC is now the focal point of the Defence Academy as an inspiring venue for developing new educational ideas in defence technology and management fields. It uses past and present defence equipment and technologies to deliver education and training to all ranks and grades in the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force, MOD Civil Service and Defence Industry in a stimulating environment. The focus is on Masters level courses provided by Cranfield Defence and Security.

The Conference Hall is an increasingly popular venue for MOD and industry open days, briefings and conferences. It comprises a lecture theatre with a newly fitted acoustic, movable wall leading to the adjoining exhibition hall which is also the venue for refreshments during each of our events and indeed an increasing number of MOD prestigious events such as CGS Study Days and DCDS(Cap) Workshops. Some 55,000 people visit the DCC every year.

Very few opportunities exist for you to target and capture an audience at a MOD establishment, particularly one with such diversity as the Defence Academy, as a long term part of your business development strategy. In partnership with the Defence Academy, we are offering you the opportunity for long term commercial visibility, renewable every 12 months, on the wall space of the exhibition hall. The main screen of the lecture theatre is flanked by Defence Academy and Symposia at Shrivenham graphics. For added visibility for those organisations taking advantage of long term commercial visibility in the exhibition area, their logos may be displayed in the lecture theatre.

The process of securing your commercial visibility at the Defence Academy could not be simpler. By using the on-line booking form or the ‘Tariff’ booking form (icons on the right), you can choose the size and place (Zone) of your ‘space’. All we need is your graphic, to be supplied in PDF Format at 300dpi ½ sizes, we will mount and secure it to the wall for you. Each zone contains a number of structural bays, each with a capacity of up to nine square graphics – the more squares you book, the more economic your visibility becomes. You are not limited to the shape of your graphic – anything can be negotiated but the mounting system will remain a constant. Conversely, at an additional modest cost, we can provide you with graphic design and production assistance.

This reduced rate offer is being made to those who already support Symposia at Shrivenham. We will be offering this opportunity to the wider world of Defence and Security in early 2012.
