Sports and Recreation
The campus offers many facilities on site including riding stables, a heated, outdoor, swimming pool, a gym and a golf course.
While there is every opportunity for sport and physical activity, other tastes are catered for with drama, singing, art and patchwork amongst the options.
There are many clubs and societies offering the chance to participate in your usual sport or hobby or learn a new one. All military and civilian students are welcome to take part. The Jubilee Community Centre and the Bower Brook Club are the focus for many of these activities.
Students and their families also participate in events in the local community and there are extensive leisure facilities in Swindon including a theatre and cinema. We recommend going to see The Hyperbolics, a 4-piece rock band (all Cranfield employees) who regularly play gigs in and around the Swindon area.
