Postgraduate Arrivals

This page provides important information for all arriving Postgraduate students. Please read it through carefully to ensure you are prepared for the start of your Cranfield University course.

MSc Registration
On your Arrival Day you will be introduced to the School, your course and complete the enrolment process. Generic Timetable
On arrival at the Main Gate Reception you will be required to produce photographic ID and your offer letter from Academic Registry. You will be issued with a vehicle pass and a personal pass (not UK military) to allow you to access the site. Please allow at least 15 minutes for this process.
Please remember to bring the following documentation with you (where required):
- degree certificates (all students, if applicable)
- passport (non military students)
- any other documentation required to fulfil your conditions of offer, eg IELTS results for international students

Accommodation
It is ESSENTIAL that all students arrange accommodation prior to arrival in Shrivenham.
Military and MOD Civil Servants: Single room accommodation may be available in the Mess (Mess Rules). Please book through Mrs Jo Nash (jnash.cu@defenceacademy.mod.uk), facsimile 01793 314901.
Full Time Civilian Students: Information on external rented accommodation is available from our Accommodation Officer, Mr Ryan Baker (r.p.baker@cranfield.ac.uk)

Part Time Civilian Students: Please contact Mrs Jo Nash (jnash.cu@defenceacademy.mod.uk). Accommodation is not always available in the Officers' Mess but details of external accommodation can be supplied. Students need to arrange this accommodation themselves.
Students are also recommended to get Insurance.
Facilities
All students have access to the Library, please adhere to the Library Regulations.
There are also computing facilities available on site. Guide for students purchasing their own equipment.

All registered students are also members of the Cranfield Students' Association, and are entitled to have an NUS Card.
