- Currently involved in a number of areas of research including :
- Assessing teaching methods for the facilitation of learning at a distance
- Investigations into systems obsolescence
- Software systems complexity.

Background
- Lecturer in Systems Engineering
- Joined Cranfield University in February 2000
- Working initially on novel simulation applications in the Simulation and Synthetic Environment Laboratory
- He went on to assume a broader teaching role in the Centre for Systems Engineering, focusing on engineering methods and tools, modelling, simulation
- Currently responsible for leading the “Systems Analysis Techniques” and "Software Intensive Systems" modules, both of which contribute to the Systems Engineering for Defence (SED) suite of MScs
- Contributes to several specialist programmes including :
- Distance learning variants of the SED course
- Intensive Technical Employment Training course for MOD employees and serving officers.
