Current activities

James Tucker began his MPhil/PhD in the Department of Engineering and Applied Science in January 2009. His research is focused on investigating the manufacturing and aging of double- based propellants. The specific focus it to link the mechanical properties to the chemical composition.

Background

Jim graduated from Reading University in 2008 with a 2:1 in Chemistry.

The focus of his 3rd year research project was, Solvothermal synthesis of Zeolites, this involved analysis using Single Crystal XRD.
