Background
David Spencer graduated in Materials Science with a Masters in Metallurgical Engineering and Computer Science from Cranfield and Bristol universities.
David has industrial research experience in weld surfacing of Cobalt based alloys, fibre reinforced metal matrix composites and polycrystalline diamond. He has been involved in nuclear submarine refits and most recently held an appointment as a lecturer in Computer Science.
David recently joined DASSR as an MPhil student in the Nuclear Department based in HMS Sultan.
