Background

Dr O’Brien’s research interests concern environmental and human security, democratisation, and contentious politics. He has previously held positions at Deakin University, University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, Victoria University Wellington, and the University of Birmingham. He is currently Editorial Assistant for the journal Politics, Religion and Ideology.
