Background
Susanna Kirk joined the Department in autumn 2006. She has an MSc in Archaeomaterials: Technology and Material Culture from the University of Sheffield, her dissertation was on the raw materials of English medieval glasses using experimental replication. Prior to that Susanna gained a BSc in Archaeological Science, also at the University of Sheffield.
Susanna’s PhD project is concerned with studying the weathering of archaeological glasses.
