Current activities
Aimée is currently working on the Lethality domain of the Future Dismounted Close Combat contract won by a consortium lead by SEA ltd. This contract awarded by Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) aims to inform future procurement options in the complex Dismounted Close Combat (DCC) arena. A significant component of the Lethality research effort is intended to inform judgement with respect to the replacement of current soldier lethality systems in the 2020 timeframeBackground
Aimée joined Cranfield University in May 2007. She has a background in Weapons Technology having graduated with a PhD from Defence College of Management and Technology, Cranfield University in July 2007 with a Thesis titled “Investigations into the optimisation of Sound Suppressor Geometry”.
Aimée previously worked as a System Analyst and Trials Support Officer on a major FRES technology demonstration program developing and reporting on armoured vehicle-based trials and simulation-based trials.
