Current activities

Working as an independent consultant in forensic computing, receiving instructions from both prosecution and defence agencies, especially in the field of criminal law. Developing and delivering forensic computing training courses for Cranfield University’s Centre for Forensic Computing and a number of other agencies. Lead assessor in the forensic computing field for the Council for the Registration of Forensic Practitioners. Chairman of F3, a training and networking organisation for forensic analysts.

Background

Served for 25 years as a police officer for Northamptonshire Police, with the majority of that service being in a computer environment. Experience of forensic computing analysis and investigation, and also system administration in the Unix environment. Chartered IT Professional Member of the British Computer Society.

 

Qualifications

1st class Honours Degree in Computer Studies. Police-trained financial investigator. HNC with Distinction in Business Computing
