Background

Lyndsay Dunne began her career with the Civil Service working for the DHSS in Reading. Later she studied at Weston-super-Mare technical college for a City and Guilds diploma in health and beauty therapy before running her own business as a health and beauty therapist.

Lyndsay took a career break in order to raise her two children and then enrolled for an BSc with the Open University and graduated in 1994.

In 1990 she joined the Royal Military College of Science, now the Defence College of Management and Technology, as a technician in Dr. Mike Williams’ group.

Lyndsay was promoted to her current post of Research Fellow in 1996.
