Current activities
Dr Eleftheria Dossi joined the Department of Engineering and Applied Science in March 2008 as a Research Officer in Defence Chemistry.
Eleftheria is a synthetic polymer chemist currently involved in the synthesis and characterisation of novel energetic polyphosphazenes for new explosive formulations.

Dr Dossi gained her Master in Chemistry at the University of Pisa (Italy) and her PhD in Biopolymers at the University of Brescia (Italy). Prior to moving to England in 1998 she was involved in different fields of synthesis of polymeric materials. Dr Dossi left her post as chemist for 7 years to look after her young family.May 1998 – April 2001
