Current activities
Catherine is currently on secondment from Faculty Services to CSSM, as Course Co-Ordinator for UK MSc courses, including short courses, and MSc Ethiopia Cohort 1. She is responsible for all administrative matters in connection with the recruitment, and management of students within CSSM, whilst they undertake their studies. She is the focal point for communication between module managers and students, co-ordinating their timetable, assignments and exams, and deals with all new enquiries.
Background
Catherine has a varied administrative background including working in Customer Liaison, Event Management and as a PA, as well as experience in both military and civilian training environments.
She was previously responsible for MSc Defence Leadership, International Defence Marketing, Resilience and Security Sector Management degrees whilst working in Faculty Services, so is no new comer to the department.
She is delighted to have the opportunity for more ‘hands-on’ time with the Students, and trusts that her organised and personal approach will be of value and assistance to both CSSM and their students.
