Centre for Simulation and Analytics
The Centre for Simulation and Analytics brings together expertise in
- operational analysis,
- decision analysis and judgmental assessment,
- simulation and modelling in the form of virtual and constructive simulations
- mathematical modeling including combat and logistical modeling
- statistical analysis
- across acquisition, experimentation and training.
The Simulation and Synthetic Environment Laboratory (SSEL) is a key capability alongside the recently formed Decision Analysis and Risk Modelling Laboratory (DARMLab) provides a focus for research and teaching in those areas.
The Centre runs a postgraduate programme (MSc, diploma and certificate) with two linked themes: Defence Simulation and Modelling, and Military Operational Research. The courses are available on both a full-time and a part-time basis.
