Academic IS/IT resources for CDS staff and researchers

Cranfield staff and researchers have access to both Defence Academy and Academic IT resources. The key services are summarised here.

The services below will require a University login. You can also access them when you are off-site.

CDS email and filestore

CDS email https://outlookanywhere.cranfield.ac.uk: web browser view of your CDS email
CDS file store: Set up a mapped drive on your computer at work, available on-site and off-site via the extranet/VPN, log in required using your CDS username and password. Instructions are available on the intranet - follow link to Intranet > Schools > CDS > CDS Information Services.

CDS School services

Barrington Library http://barrington.cranfield.ac.uk. All electronic resources can be accessed from this link. Further authentication may be required for some resources when you are off-site. Contact Barrington Library staff for details.
Celcat timetable service https://timetable.cds.cranfield.ac.uk. Details of teaching timetables and meeting room reservation; this is available both from the DAIS and off-site
CDS VLE https://vle.cds.cranfield.ac.uk: e-learning course management for CDS staff and students

University services

University Intranet http://intranet.cranfield.ac.uk: news, events and information on University services. If you are off-site you will have to log on to via an extranet link: http://www.cranfield.ac.uk/intranet
Change or reset your password http://www.cranfield.ac.uk/pwman: Use this for your CDS and CCNT passwords. You will need to be able to answer the security questions that you registered.
Agresso timesheets for CDS staff https://agrweb.cranfield.ac.uk: This link will only work if you are logged on to your Defence Academy PC. Use the Extranet if you are off-site. Contact the Agresso helpdesk for assistance.
MyView HR system for holidays, sickness and pay information http://myview.cranfield.ac.uk/concerto/Portal: Login with your CCNT username and password; this should match your CDS login details. If you are off-site use the Extranet.
Web Drop Box service https://webdropoff.cranfield.ac.uk share large files with clients.
Cranfield University VPN/Extranet http://extranet.cranfield.ac.uk use the Extranet for off-site access to key University services such as Intranet, MyView and Agresso. The service is customised for CDS/Shrivenham staff and students. You must logon using the Shrivenham Campus option.
