MSc Projects
The MSc (Master of Science) is typically a 1 year taught postgraduate degree, involving lectures, examination, and a short project. At Cranfield we offer research MSc programmes, where a longer project or set of projects is undertaken full-time. MSc projects can be sponsored by businesses and tailored to deliver output relevant to your business needs.
Three MSc sponsorship options are available:
1. MSc by research is a one year sponsored project by a high-class graduate researching into a company identified problem. Costs depend on the type of research and the department which undertakes it. Project scope is by agreement with the appropriate academic supervisor, and may be within any of Cranfield University’s areas of expertise.

Timing varies between departments, but often students are assigned to the project between October and April, commencing work on the project in June. Again, costs depend on the project content. Project scope is as above.
