BAE SYSTEMS/Cranfield Link Office
The BAE Systems/Cranfield Link Office is a partnership between Cranfield University and BAE Systems. The principal objectives of the Link Office are to establish and foster a broad area of contact between BAE Systems and Cranfield University to advance interaction between staff of both parties at all levels and, through these contacts, to actively develop a long term, strategic and mutually beneficial partnership founded upon the generation and transfer of world class knowledge and expertise.
The Link Office has the Enabling Agreement (ZN1314 AT2114 Amendment 2) which provides a simple and efficient way of placing any contracts, whether fully or partly funded by the company, in any field or discipline for research & technology, education & training or any other activity (such as project support, seminars, workshops etc.) without protracted negotiation of contractual terms & conditions, including those relating to intellectual property, confidentiality and publication. This can be done by means of a creating a simple Annex to be signed by an authorised Point of Contact.
As prime contractor to BAE SYSTEMS, Cranfield University has, working with other academic partners, created a suite of seven innovative online learning courses. These unique courses are multimedia, tutor-led and interactive for a high quality learning experience and are available world-wide to all employees of BAE Systems, its partners and affiliate companies.
