Chancellor - Baroness Young of Old Scone
The Chancellor is the University's senior officer. The Chancellor presides over the University's Court, and over degree ceremonies. They are empowered to confer the University's degrees and other distinctions, both on successful students and on people nominated for honorary degrees.
Pro-Chancellor - Gordon Page
The Pro-Chancellor is Chairman of the University's Council, which is the governing body of the University. As such, the Pro-Chancellor plays a leading role in the governance of the University.
Treasurer - Robin Howard
The Treasurer is responsible to the Council for superintending the financial affairs of the university. Like the Pro-Chancellor, the Treasurer plays a key role in the affairs of the university. The Treasurer chairs the Finance Committee of the University.
Vice-Chancellor - Professor Sir John O'Reilly
The Vice-Chancellor is the University's Chief Executive. He is responsible to the Chancellor and, particularly, to the Pro-Chancellor and the Council for all the University's activities. Under the Statutes the Vice-Chancellor is responsible for maintaining and promoting the efficiency and good order of the University. The Vice-Chancellor is chairman of the University's senior academic body, the Senate.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor - Professor Clifford Friend
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor takes responsibility for particular aspects of the University's activities on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor - Professor Lynette Ryals
The Pro-Vice-Chancellor acts on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor as the senior officer of the University with specific responsibility for learning and teaching and academic quality assurance. They chair the University's Teaching Committee.

The Secretary and Registrar is secretary to the Court, Council and Senate, and oversees the arrangements for providing support to Faculty Boards and for the administrative work undertaken by the University Registry on each of the university's campuses, which includes student admissions, registration, discipline, examination procedures, and graduation.

The Visitor is appointed by Her Majesty The Queen. He has 'the right from time to time … to direct an inspection of the University, its buildings, laboratories and general equipment and also an enquiry into the teaching, research, examinations and other work done by the University'.
