Cranfield University has been chosen by the Education and Skills Funding Agency to receive Government funding to deliver postgraduate apprenticeships for non-levy paying employers. Non-levy paying employers are businesses with an annual pay bill of under £3 million.

The University was the first to deliver postgraduate apprenticeships through the Systems Engineering Masters Apprentice Programme and the first business school to deliver an Executive MBA through the apprenticeship route. In partnership with BAE Systems, Cranfield recently announced that it was delivering the first-of-its-kind postgraduate engineering apprenticeship.

Professor Simon Jones, Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Cranfield University, said: “Cranfield works closely with businesses of all sizes from start-ups to global conglomerates. We have led the way in providing postgraduate-level apprenticeships working with some of the UK’s biggest businesses such as Grant Thornton and BAE Systems. I’m delighted that we can now support smaller businesses in upskilling their workforce.”
